Implementation Project Manager

San Antonio, TX



The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of client project delivery to ensure successful implementations and maximum revenue earning potential on allocated MSP work streams, VMS, and National Account clients.



  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 4+ years project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Experience with VMS applications, including Fieldglass, PeopleFluent, IQN, Beeline, or similar
  • Experience with MSP, Contingent, IC, SOW, RPO programs and/or cloud implementations
  • Self-motivated and directed to work within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, corporate culture and to adhere to the standards and work ethic consistent with that team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customers’ needs and translate business requirements to configuration
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions while motivating team
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems and to stay informed of new technologies
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating complex information to a variety of audiences in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner through excellent written and oral communication skills



  • Responsible for a variety of small- to large-scale projects, including delivery of VMS and MSP implementations, as well as internal IT projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the implementation function across the MSP and staffing solution product life cycle, as needed, including pre-sales, implementation, and post go-live
  • Develop and maintain a detailed schedule to manage client implementation delivery process from start to finish
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct activities to ensure projects are completed timely and meets clients’ goals
  • Develop strong understanding of business objectives for assigned projects and collaborate with team members on project requirements to ensure all team members are aligned in their deployment efforts
  • Monitor projects’ status against objectives and provide weekly and monthly status reports, ensuring adherence to project management standards
  • Attend status meetings with internal teams and clients and document and distribute all meeting minutes
  • Engage implementation stakeholders through proactive communication of project updates
  • Provide first-level point of integration and escalation support for client engagements
  • Ensure project and portfolio management tools and templates are up to date, utilized, and accurately reflect project status; provide input and direction for any necessary improvements
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and other partners by providing exceptional customer service through timely responses, professional interactions, problem-solving, diplomatic handling of escalating situations, and quick adaptation to new technology solutions utilized by clients and internal teams
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Expected Travel: 25 – 50%
