Document Management Technician (12666)

Job Description

InGenesis is seeking a Document Management Technician to work with our client. In this role, you will organize and manage health information data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, and security in both paper and electronic systems.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
  • Utilize and navigate patient information in E.H.R computer software (NextGen).
  • Scan patient documents correctly into patient records.
  • Maintain and process medical records requests and Subpoena requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in health-related field or equivalent experienced preferred.
  • 1 year in clerical experience.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology.
  • Strong clerical and computer skills, experience with electronic health record system (NextGen preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook.

This position is dependent on contract award.
