VMS Business Specialist - (13311)
Implementation | Remote | Full Time
We are currently seeking a VMS Business Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of platform implementations by providing subject matter expertise in Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Salesforce, and HR-focused applications. You will partner closely with the Implementations Director to drive client satisfaction and ensure process excellence throughout the full implementation lifecycle. This position is fully remote.
This position is dependent on contract award.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintenance of Applicant Tracking systems and associated integrated systems.
- Work with assigned team members to present system best practices.
- Lead or participate in business requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with clients.
- Ensure client configuration and business requirements documents are accurate, complete, and signed off by the client.
- Configure test and production environments.
- Support Sales efforts by staging and conducting system demonstrations for potential clients.
- Actively participate in user acceptance testing.
- Engage with clients to format, collect and reconcile gaps in data
- Client support of post-implementation system needs.
- Provide direction and leadership to ensure professional platform delivery.
- Provide strategic tactical guidance for creating, implementing, and driving efficient and effective delivery strategy, quality, resource management, and support of VMS and HR platforms.
- Provide a first-level point of integration and escalation support for client engagements to ensure all team members are aligned in their deployment efforts.
- Support client implementation life cycle from start to finish in a structured and professional matter.
- Act as the client point of contact for configuration queries during implementation.
- Ensure tools and templates are utilized and kept current.
- Provide input to facilitate improvement of tools and templates for configuration management.
- Advise external clients and internal staff on best practices for implementing applications and software.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years CRM admin/configuration experience.
- Minimum of two years of staffing industry experience, MSP experience preferred.
- Ability to problem-solve and communicate conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management in a clear, concise, and well-organized fashion.
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer’s needs and translate business requirements to configuration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems, and to stay informed of new technologies.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
- Must be comfortable with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture and the standards and work ethic consistent with that environment

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills using phone, email, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Detailed-oriented and reliable, with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and quality standards.
