Project Manager Consultant - (13339)

Job Description

InGenesis is currently seeking a Project Manager Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and consultative support across all phases of project delivery to drive successful implementations and maximize revenue opportunities across assigned MSP work streams, VMS platforms, and National Account clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert throughout the account lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders from Sales through Implementation.

This position is responsible for documenting new client projects and providing remote consultative support to internal team members as needed to ensure project requirements, deliverables, and implementation expectations are clearly understood and effectively executed. This is a fully remote position.

This position is dependent on contract award.


Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant throughout the account lifecycle, from pre-sales through implementation.
  • Plan, lead, and coordinate activities across multiple concurrent client projects.
  • Present implementation updates, risks, and project status in executive-level meetings with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership in delivery planning, quality management, resource coordination, and execution to support enterprise-wide business objectives.
  • Act as the first point of integration and escalation for client engagements, ensuring alignment across teams during deployment and implementation efforts.
  • Ensure project and portfolio management tools and templates are consistently used, maintained, and accurately reflect project status.
  • Monitor and report on project performance against objectives, ensuring compliance with established project management standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable, scalable, and sustainable implementation processes that support consistent project delivery.
  • Contribute to implementation communications and stakeholder updates to support successful MSP and staffing deployments.
  • Provide implementation expertise across the MSP and staffing solution lifecycle, including pre-sales, implementation, and post-go-live support as needed.
  • Promote continuous improvement practices that drive faster, more cost-effective implementations while mitigating risk and maintaining fiscal awareness across project activities.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion and alignment with client objectives.
  • Lead recurring status meetings with internal teams and clients and provide clear, actionable project updates.
  • Respond proactively to client and stakeholder needs with a strong focus on service and resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and support delivery across multiple initiatives.
  • Adapt quickly to client technologies and evolving business needs to support successful implementation outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading or supporting implementation projects in a client-facing environment.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Experience working with VMS applications such as FieldGlass and PeopleFluent.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 10%

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high standards and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations and de-escalate issues professionally.
