HIV Program Director (12670)

Program Management | Fremont, CA | Contract | From $99.25 to $99.25 per hour

Job Description

InGenesis is seeking an HIV Program Director for the HIV, TransVision Program to work with our client. In this role, you will provide oversight for the organization’s HIV and Trans Vision programs. The director will oversee grant development, fulfillment, and budget coordination. Collaborations with leadership, HIV and Trans Vision program teams, outside funders, community partners, and patient voices to support the work of Zero new HIV infections, Zero AIDS-related deaths, and Zero Stigma.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, protocols, and systems in an ongoing manner to ensure the program’s efficacy, quality, and sustainability for our historically marginalized patients, clinic staff, and funders.
  • Ensure active patient and community engagement in HIV and Trans Vision programs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of the HIV and Trans Vision programs to BACH leadership, partners, and funders.
  • Work collaboratively with the planning and development department with reporting required.
  • Oversee and maintain existing grants, as well as assuring compliance with grant deliverables.
  • Supervise and evaluate HIV and Trans Vision programs team staff.
  • Participate in staff conferences and the health center's continuous quality assurance and peer review programs.
  • Attend workshops, training, and meetings.
  • Serve on various committees and workgroups as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, or health administration or equivalent.
  • Three or more years of directly related experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role indicated by successfully forming a team that is highly productive and demonstrates collaborative relationships with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience or as the lead person overseeing the implementation of a program of significant size and scope.
  • Grant and budget experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, or equivalent software products.
  • Community or Public Health experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Valid California state driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance


This position is dependent on contract award.
