Dental Assistant | Fremont, CA | Contract | From $26.00 to $26.00 per hour
InGenesis is seeking a Dental Assistant to work with our client. In this role, you will perform a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and clean environment for quality dental care.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists the dentist during a variety of examinations and treatment procedures.
- Records treatment information using Electronic Dental Records system.
- Provides patient education.
- Prepares and maintains dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Helps patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
- Performs general office duties (i.e., scheduling, answering telephones, scanning documents).
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Radiation Safety License - all licenses and certifications must be from a California Board approved course.
- Current CPR/BLS training.
- Bilingual preferred.
- EPIC experience.
Physical Demands:
- Required to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
- Must be able to make fast, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Must be able to bend or twist their body for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to coordinate movement of several parts of the body, such as arms and legs, while the body is moving.
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 35 pounds.
- Must be able to see details at a close range.
