Healthcare Administration | Fremont, CA | Full Time | From $110,000 to $150,000 per year
InGenesis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our clinic operations and manage professional development and training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical management, staff training, effective communication/presentation skills and patient care coordination. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a commitment to quality improvement, the ability to foster a collaborative work environment with employees and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards. Manage and support onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring alignment with clinic protocols, workflows and client expectations.
- Coordinate with clinic managers to identify training needs and develop targeted educational initiatives.
- Manage assignments, rotation and backup schedules effectively and required to ensure client satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and update clinical protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HR/program/standards requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs for all InGenesis clinic staff, focusing on best practices and continuous improvement.
- Lead skills assessment sessions for all clinical staff, providing any necessary retraining when competency is not at the expected level.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Mentor and support new clinic staff (nurses, medical assistants, front desk and community health workers), as they transition into their roles and develop their clinical skills.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of staff training and development activities.
- Regularly meet with key stakeholders and employees
- Visit clinics to ensure consistency in clinic operations, program deliverables and employee satisfaction. This position is not remote, duties require incumbent to be onsite; vicinity travel required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) California state license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years in a clinic, nurse management or clinical leadership role.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
- Experience in professional development and staff training.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards and quality management
- Ability to prioritize tasks, efficiently manage time, set goals and objectives, and develop action plans.
- Bilingual proficiency is welcome but not required.
- Ability to manage and regularly visit all clinics within the San Jose and Fremont area
