Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN (12972)

InGenesis is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work with our client in Tupper Lake, NY. In this role, you will be working in the Sunmount Developmental Center.

Job Duties

· Will be required to float between locations in the community to meet the needs of the agency. The locations the nurse may need to float between include residences in Norwood Madrid, Massena.

· Administering Medications and Treatments to individuals in the residences.

· Performing nursing tasks (G-Tube feedings, G-Tube medications, Tracheostomy care, Catheterizations) and other tasks under the scope of an LPN.

· Providing direct nursing care to the individuals receiving services

· Performing and documenting nursing interventions

· Participating in staff training

· Maintaining infection control standards

· Will be required to do mandatory overtime in instances in which there is a need to mandate a nurse to meet the health and safety minimums to ensure the well-being of the individuals and there are no other LPNs in the community that can be mandated to cover the shift.

· May be required to assist with other tasks to meet the needs of the DDSO

Preferred Qualifications

· Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York states

Shifts: Monday-Sunday: 6a-2p; Monday-Sunday 2p-10p

*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
