Occupational Therapist (12964)

InGenesis is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with our client located in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will work with clients at the Northwest Developmental Center.

Job Duties

• Assesses clients’ physical capabilities in conjunction with developmental and/or psychosocial functions.
• Plans, coordinates, and implements occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans.
• Determines appropriate therapy techniques and sequence.
• Coordinates treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit.
• Provides consultation with clients. Other health care professionals and interested outside parties regarding client progress.
• Participates in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures.
• Assesses and locates suitable adaptive equipment.
• Performs accurate and timely documentation of interactions, treatment plans, and revisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapist License.
• Skilled in the use, fabrication, and maintenance of orthotic and prosthetic devices, and occupational therapy equipment.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
