InGenesis is currently seeking Auditors to work with our client in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Dept. of Health’s Maternal and Infant Health Home Visiting Unit.

Bureau: Bureau of Data Analytics, Research and Evaluation (BDARE)

Duties:

· Provide support for the work of the Maternal Mortality Review Initiative which includes the Maternal Mortality Review Board (MMRB).

· Assist with collecting information for maternal mortality case ascertainment from multiple data sources, including autopsy, police report, Psychiatric Services and Clinical Knowledge for Medicaid members (PSYCKES), incarceration history, online information, and other sources;

· Assist with tracking the receipt of case information and follow up on missing information.

· Enter vital death/birth file information and/or other related data as required by the Maternal Mortality Review Information Application (MMRIA);

· Assist in reviewing and verifying entered information; track the receipt of case information and follow up on missing information; and file, photocopy and download case information for case review and MMRB meetings.

· Provide support for an internal obstetrician (OB) to review pregnancy-associated cases. i.e., enter data from the death certificate, birth certificate and autopsy into OB case review forms; downloads completed forms received from OB

· Provide support for the transfer of information to and from IPRO abstractors.

· Assist in preparing case materials for MMRB reviewer;

· Provide logistical support for MMRB meetings;

· Perform general office and administrative related assignments.


Skills required:

· Strong office organizational skills related to collecting, tracking, and follow up of data

· Data entry experience, preferably in Access forms

· Experience with office machines to scan, fax, copy and compile documents

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Excel.

· Ability to accurately extract details from program submissions.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion. (preferred)

· Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as directed by management. (preferred)


Bureau: Bureau of Perinatal, Reproductive, and Sexual Health (BPRASH)

Duties:

· Conduct preliminary review of program progress reports to identify missing data and related data entry into unit tracking systems.

· Enter data from program progress reports into a spreadsheet in an accurate and timely manner.

· Notify program manager of any issues encountered while reviewing program progress reports and work with them to resolve them in an accurate and timely manner.

· Contact programs with concerns relating to missing/incomplete data in an accurate and timely manner.

· Maintain up to date lists of program contacts in spreadsheets and email systems

· Under direction from the unit manager or program manager, share email communication with programs.

· Respond to inquiries to leadership in an accurate and timely manner.

· Support program manager by conducting preliminary review of budgets and budget modifications as requested.

· Support program manager by conducting a quality review of all draft contract packages before transmitting them to the grantees for official signature.

· Provide support to program management in the completion of annual program risk assessments.


Skills required:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Excel.

· Ability to accurately extract details from program submissions.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Knowledge and experience working in the NYS Statewide Financial System. (preferred)

· Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion. (preferred)

· Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as directed by management. (preferred)


*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
