Coordinator, Clinical Research Program
Work Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary/Description
The primary purpose of the Coordinator of Clinical Research Program position is to provide administrative services for the coordination of research studies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Coordination, development, and administration of departmental investigator-initiated clinical research protocols and multidisciplinary clinical trials and assistance with other clinical research protocols.
• Coordination of regulatory correspondence on all departmental clinical research studies.
• Utilization of technical writing ability to compose and abstract medical and scientific information for preparation of written correspondence, reports, and protocols under the direction of study investigators.
• Coordination of protocol submissions to meet institutional protocol deadlines and other departmental paperwork deadlines.
• Coordination of weekly and ad hoc research meetings and research deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related scientific field.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related scientific field.
• Required: With Bachelor's degree, six years’ experience in area of research study obtained from nursing, data gathering or other related experience.
• With preferred degree, three years’ experience in area of research study obtained from nursing, data gathering or other related experience
