Licensed Practical Nurse - Corrections
Work Location: Leavittsburg, OH

InGenesis is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our client in Leavittsburg, OH. In this position, you will be highly responsible for caring for ill or injured inmates with various types of disabilities or conditions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Provide general nursing or direct care and programming assistance (e.g., takes patient vital signs; assists with personal grooming & hygiene).
• Assist in emergencies.
• Administer controlled drugs.
• Maintain medication accountability records.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions.
• Prepare/maintain related reports and records.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Completion of Medication Administration course.
• Biennial renewal of licensure as practical nurse.
• Obtain/maintain certification in CPR.
