Job Description
Registered Nurse - NICU
Work Location: Dallas, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at local hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for comforting ill newborns and anxious family members. Your training and compassionate touch will be crucial to these infants.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol.
• Perform NICU specific duties such as bilirubin light monitoring, cord blood collection, incubator monitoring, etc.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as issued by the state of Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• 2+ years’ experience in a NICU setting.
