Benefits Coordinator
Work Location: San Antonio, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator to work with our client located in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you provide customer service to patients by scheduling appointments, performing check-in and check-out procedures, verifying insurance benefits, and providing telephone triage.

Job Duties
• Obtain all benefits insurance information for patients.
• Obtain authorizations and referrals.
• Assist in collection of copays and existing balances due.
• Assist with financial counseling, as needed.
• Serve as insurance resource for all clinic staff.
• Remain up to date on all insurance issues.
• Handle phone calls and transfer to appropriate departments.
• Manage patient appointments according to physician schedules or protocols.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 3+ years of related experience, required.
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office and database programs.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
