Administrative Assistant
Work Location: Selinsgrove, PA

InGenesis is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support and assistance in the field operations office for our client located in Selinsgrove/Harrisburg. In this role, your primary focus of support will be to work with nurses and financial representatives to ensure compliance with state and federal medical assistance regulations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Act as resource for long term care providers.
• Assist with reviews of providers.
• Review documents and forms for resident rights, preadmission screening, financial information, etc.
• Track and enter data from forms and related letters.
• Pull and compile relevant medical, facility, and participant data.
• Notify providers of pending reviews.
• Follow up on requests for information.
• Assist with coordination of provider trainings, meetings, and workgroups.
• Organize nursing facilities surveying information for processing.
• Type and proofread various kinds of correspondence, reports, and documents.
• Order and monitor office supply stock.
• Handle all mail, telephone calls, and office management.
• Assist in making travel, parking, and meeting arrangements.
• Travel, as needed, which include overnight stays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Administrative skills (typing, filing, copying, etc.).
• Administrative experience in a medically related setting.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
• Must understand the PA Medical Assistance Program.
• Must understand the utilization management review process.
• Knowledge of nursing facility and home/community-based service operations.
• Travel, as needed, which may include overnight stays.
