Payment Applications Specialist
Work Location: Dallas, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Payment Applications Specialist to post payments from patients, insurance companies, government insurance, and other third party carriers. In this role, you will research payment application issues, verify necessary documentation has been received, and resolve questions regarding invoice payment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Analyze automatic processes for correctness and post all edits/rejects, as required.
• Ensure data is accurate and submitted in accordance with processing deadlines.
• Post rejected and pre-post edits manually for payments received electronically.
• Research problem accounts in order to properly post payments.
• Balance all batches and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform proper posting of critical company accounts, transplant, research, and complex IA accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in hospital/medical office payment posting or bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of FSA, EOB, and 835 processing.
• Effective communication skills (written/oral).
• Proficiency in keyboarding and 10-key.
