Job Description
Senior Healthcare Analyst
Work Location: Harrisburg, PA

InGenesis is currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Analyst to analyze internal processes to identify efficiencies, reduce operating costs, and work with executive level leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for managing direct/indirect reports to accomplish tactical and long-term projects.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Maintain project documentation and work plans.
• Develop training for both new hires and existing staff.
• Create executive level reports and oral presentations.
• Assist with budget analysis, tracking and updates.
• Monitor departmental performance measures.
• Resolve complex customer issues.
• Assist with data collection for industry surveys and reports.
• Assist with procurement documents.
• Identify potential areas of fraud, waste or abuse in the Medical Assistance program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience (preferably health plan or pharmacy).
• Demonstrated project management experience.

SOFT SKILLS
• Working knowledge of healthcare operations (enrollment, claims, customer service and appeals).
• Applied analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to lead a team and successfully complete both short and long-term assignments.
• Ability to lead executive level meetings and/or presentations.
• Demonstrated strategic planning skills.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid/Medical Assistance.
