Job Summary/Description
This role is responsible for recruiting/onboarding process of pre-identified candidates from an acquisition of 15+ clinics throughout the metropolitan Houston area - local travel will be required

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Demonstrates sound judgment and advanced competency in strategic thinking, analytical ability, organizational planning and institutional practice as they relate to effectively sourcing applicants, selecting candidates and managing resources.
• Maintains an expert level of expertise and credibility through participation in professional development programs, educational activities and review of current professional resources.
• Drives the assessment of external and internal talent to fill assigned positions as well as providing input on systems and processes for all university positions including critical and hard to fill vacancies and executive referrals. Maintains high level knowledge of industry and client groups in order to develop and implement effective short- and long-term sourcing plans prioritized based on business needs of client.
• Works collaboratively with recruitment team, client, and HR colleagues in helping to lead recruitment process to align with agreed upon strategies, metrics and execution of broader department goals.
• Maintains close working relationships with customer base to understand their specific employment needs and works collaboratively with them to develop and implement appropriate recruiting strategies.
• Assists in facilitating the recruiting process by implementing appropriate recruiting strategies, evaluating applicants, referring the best qualified candidates, preparing salary recommendations, and coordinating pre-employment.
• Provides ongoing training and coaching to hiring managers and their staff regarding hiring practices, trends and selection/employment updates. Looks for opportunities to provide consultative services to hiring managers related to the retention of their existing workforce and applies knowledge of their existing workforce to profile future employment needs.
• Continually looks for opportunities to improve work processes and the value of delivered services. Uses key performance measures to optimize the business.
• Participates in departmental planning, process development and education to meet departmental and university objectives. Provides education and training on recruitment “best practices” to Recruitment team and other HR colleagues and functions as a mentor and trainer to recruitment staff.
• Interprets and utilizes institutional polices effectively. Works collaboratively with hiring managers, Human Resources staff, and others to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and UTHSCH policies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Five years of responsible professional experience within an area of human resources.
