Job Summary/Description
The Compliance Analyst will perform specialized support and regulatory compliance review and analysis for the Office of Research Administration. This position requires considerable exercise of independent judgment related to situations of a sensitive, confidential and scientific nature and is responsible for varied extensive duties requiring considerable initiative and ability to make decisions relative to efficient program operations. Additionally, this position is responsible for carrying out administrative detail duties and for organizing and coordinating departmental activities related to research regulatory review and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required. Master’s Level Degree preferred
• Four (4) years’ experience in research or research compliance, general/legal regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, privacy compliance, billing and reimbursement or billing compliance, healthcare administration and/or general business as an analyst, auditor or fraud investigator. With preferred degree, two years of experience required. May substitute required degree with additional years of related experience on a one-to-one basis.
• Must have advanced skills with MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Lotus Notes and Crystal Report Writer; ability to run and format standard reports and retrieve and download data.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in a clear, professional and sensitive manner.
