Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
Work Location: Dallas, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Certified Tumor Registrar to compile/report data and track the progress of registry patients. In this role, you will perform data entry, prepare charts, and follow-up with patients.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Identify cases within 6 months of diagnosis.
• Abstract minimum of 6 abstracts per day.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate in abstracting, suspensing, and case-finding.
• Identify information necessary for a completed follow-up.
• Perform data entry of information obtained in the follow-up process.
• Perform tasks associated with Staging Forms.
• Prepare charts for physician review.
• Review other registrar's abstracts and offer constructive feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• College level courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an approved (Cancer Program) tumor registry, preferred.
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification, required.
