Your Mission: Provide cloud engineering for a cutting edge telecommunications research industry

We are seeking smart, creative engineers to provide software development & integration services for a cutting edge telecommunications research laboratory. You will participate in highly visible research projects with direct mission impact. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on many different tasks over a diverse set of projects.  Tasks include: prototype development, integration, automation, and many more.

A day in the life: (just a few things you may do on any given day)

  • Design visually pleasing, dynamic user interfaces (UI) with a good understanding of the user’s interaction across the site (UX).
  • Develop web servers that consume data from one or more sources and offer authentication, session management, and streaming services (SSE or WebSocket) to the clients.
  • Lend your skills to other teams to complete full-stack deployments

 What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

  • Willing to learn on the job
  • Good communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. 5 additional years of software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • US Citizenship.

What we are desiring from you (i.e. the nice-to-have qualifications)

  • Experience with server-side web development.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Will consider candidates without security clearances.
