A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):
- Provide exploitation of foreign language content from captured, seized, or otherwise acquired digital media and documents
- Provide support for operational and translation responsibilities
- Assess digital media and documents
- Screen and gist documents and files
- Translate audio and written materials
- Report and disseminate exploitation results
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- ILR 3 in Reading and Listening in Chinese or Russian
- ILR 3 in English writing (a degree from a US institution meets this requirement)
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Must successfully pass a background check and any additional customer background investigation requirements prior to employment
Optional Relocation:
The first 2-3 months of employment have to be done at the Bethesda, MD location for training purposes. After that, if an employee would like to work at one of the Joint Reserve Intel Center (JRIC) the following sites are available; Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Maryland (Fort Meade), Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, and Utah.
