Marketing Assistant with Social Media Focus

Job Description: 

This is an entry level marketing assistant position that consists primarily of social media and graphic design work. You will help manage multiple projects that will directly impact the business, and drive strategy and execution of all social media accounts. In addition, you will assist and be a go-to person creating content for social media and marketing efforts as well as measuring and reporting on all your activities.

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Effectively communicate the brand strategy using brand tone, style and voice on social media. 

  • Work to understand and analyze accounts.

  • Watch for emerging trends and areas of need. Implement a plan.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis. 

  • Develop content for marketing purposes. 

  • Help to attain goals and metrics. Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs.

  • Office software knowledge - comfortable with a wide variety of software including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google applications, and Adobe programs like photoshop. 

  • Complex problem solving - identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions 

  • Creativity - develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions 

  • Communication - express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization 

  • Organizing and planning - develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner.
