  • 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment

A leading podcast and audiobook company seeks an Affairs Departmental Assistant. The successful candidate will perform critical web-based research, assist with data gathering and data entry, and contribute to editorial projects in support of the Team’s strategic initiatives.

Affairs Departmental Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support Head of Business Affairs with daily tasks (e.g., scheduling, expenses, document management, etc.);
  • Enter and maintain dealmaking records for the BA team using Salesforce and Airtable databases to track deal terms, negotiation progress, and approvals;
  • Track contract payments, request payee changes, content terminations, etc.
  • Prepare offer proposals for the engagement of talent and personnel for both stage and audio productions, including, but not limited to, voiceover performers, writers, sound designers, directors, casting directors, etc.

Affairs Departmental Assistant Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.
  • B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree.
  • Fluency in Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, Salesforce, Airtable, and similar tools.
  • Experience working with databases and high volumes of information.
  • Excellent business judgment, detail and accuracy oriented, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), and a track record of proven success.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities calmly and efficiently.
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to build a strong rapport and trust with resources across multiple functional areas.
  • Experience working with a legal team is a plus.
