  • 40 hours/week, 21 Month Assignment

A leading technology company seeks an R&D Technician to work with oscilloscope calibration, software installation, hardware service coordination, and maintenance. The company offers a family-oriented work environment.

R&D Technician Responsibilities:

  • Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment with many people include, R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI to support the folowing efforts:
    • Oscilloscope calibration (all active families of Keysight products).
    • Oscilloscope and QUADS software Installation/Reinstallation
    • Oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service coordination
    • Oscilloscope application validation and issue submission
    • Oscilloscope maintenance. Narrow down what the issue is on a scope and provide the insturment to our local team to fix.
    • Make sure the equipement that we used with the above equipment is operational.
    • Help with the imaging to SSDs that go into the equipment.

R&D Technician Qualifications:

  • 3 -5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Higher level education or certifications in electronics preferred
  • Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes preferred
  • General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
  • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively
  • Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems

Shift:

  • Mon-Fri; flexibility with start/end times between 7am - 5pm
