• 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

A leading electronics testing company is looking for a highly motivated Plating Operator with proven success in an assembly or similar position. The candidate will prepare parts for shipment and load recipe programs.

Plating Operator Responsibilities:

• Focus on after plate package and packaging responsablities as required.
• Prepare plated parts for shipment, confirming count and quality as we use specific packaging requirements.
• Prepare machined parts for the electroplating process.
• Load prepared parts into the automated plating system.
• Load the appropriate recipe programs for each part.
• Initiate and monitor the plating process.
• Inspect parts for defects once plating is complete utilizing various inspection criteria and tools.
  

Plating Operator Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in Plating/metrology or measurement tooling and critical cosmetic inspection and handling of delicate and or applicable skills.
• Effective verbal and written skills, enabling effective interaction with co-workers, engineers, maintenance technicians and management team.
• Comprehension skills to follow processing instructions, both formal and informal, and must have the ability to learn and retain instructions/information given.
• Able to read prints and comprehend GD&T.
• Proven success in an assembly position or similar operation to over-deliver on customer needs.
• Willingness to learn, strong teamwork ethic, a positive attitude, and flexibility will foster an environment that will support personal and professional growth.
