• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 2 Month Assignment – Possibility of extension

A leading university is looking for a Facilities Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for the School of Engineering for all maintenance, security, contracts, as well as communicating with the School's Associate Directos, building occupants, suppliers, fellow Facilities Specialists, and contractors.

Facilities Specialist Responsibilities:

• Receive, investigate, and address ServiceNow, email, and verbal reports of building problems.
• Gather information from occupants and advocate for changes to schedule, scope, or methodology to reduce impacts of work disruptions.
• Identify and implement building improvements, such as small lab changes, office furniture projects and recarpeting
• Provide input to associate director for budgeting to address building improvements.
• May oversee the work of suppliers, contractors, or other service providers.
• Analyze building problems over time to identify measures to reduce recurrence. Devise procedures or other measures to prevent problems from occurring.
• Perform regular visual inspections of the building and of building systems.
• Create inspection protocols and data systems, coordinating efforts and other FS3s within SoE and getting manager approval for new programs.
• Assess inspections and experiences to identify security concerns, propose and implement solutions
• Ensure that building is operated in compliance with fire code requirements

Facilities Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years related, demonstrated technical facilities management experience

Shift:

• 7:30AM to 4:30PM PT
