The Sales Operations Analyst will be focused on supporting sales for the Marketing Solutions business across the mid-market and SMB segments. Utilizing internal and external data sources, the Analyst will dive deep into data and deliver actionable insights. The Analyst will also support cross-functional initiatives that will help propel Marketing Solutions’ strategic goals. The role is based in San Francisco.

The Analyst should be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. In collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the candidate is expected to produce data-driven insights that can be utilized in executive level presentations and drive critical business decisions all while minimizing defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct insightful, data-driven analysis to derive strategic insights and build tools that help drive long-term business strategy for the ad sales organization
  • Build weekly sales forecasts and status reports for senior executives
  • Help set sales targets/quotas as part of biannual planning process
  • Provide operational support for sales teams by building and maintaining dashboards to help monitor KPIs and evaluate performance against targets
  • Work with Systems, Reporting, and Business Analytics teams to automate reporting processes, improve tracking and educate sales teams
  • Be flexible – something unexpected always comes up

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1+ years of experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and/or SQL
  • Extreme attention to detail (minimizing defects)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with financial modelling / data analysis with an ability to use data to drive recommendations and decision-making
  • Experience in Tableau
  • Experience with Internet / Media companies
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Interest in operations and learning about running a sales organization
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with limited supervision
