Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed, meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
- Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
- Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
- Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
Software Engineer Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with software development frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java as main requirement, Python, or C++.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Experience in the development of Adobe Experience Manager applications.
- Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in Java or Scala is preferred.
- Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems is preferred.
- Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred.
