A leading professional networking company seeks a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications that are used by customers and employees worldwide. The company offers a great work environment!

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed, meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
• Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
• Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.

Software Engineer Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with software development frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java as main requirement, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience in the development of Adobe Experience Manager applications.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in Java or Scala is preferred.
• Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems is preferred.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred.
