Audience Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

  • Hourly pay: $45-$60/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
  • Worksite: Leading music streaming company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States, Candidates in Eastern and Central time zones are preferred)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 20-25 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

A leading music streaming company seeks an Audience Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to support campaign operations across email, push, in-app messaging, and on-platform advertising. This role will help improve planning, execution, and testing processes while working cross-functionally with teams like Analytics, Content Programming, and Creative. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing or product management, experience with Adobe Campaign, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Audience Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Support impactful marketing campaigns and strategies across audience engagement channels, including email, push notifications, and on-platform advertising.
  • Assist with end-to-end campaign operations from ideation to audience targeting, ensuring flawless execution and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the audience engagement team to plan monthly campaign calendars and develop test strategies to optimize performance.
  • Unlock omnichannel insights to drive user engagement and enhance platform experiences.
  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable repository for creative testing results and performance reporting, serving as a historical reference and best practices guide.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, identifying trends or anomalies, troubleshooting issues, and providing clear, actionable insights.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Creative, Operations, Analytics, and Content/Programming teams, to keep campaigns on track.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to tight timelines and deliverables, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the lifecycle and performance marketing teams as needed.

Audience Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing and/or product management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign or similar marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Airship, Tableau, and ActionIQ is a plus.
  • Experience in mobile app marketing, AdTech, content marketing, or subscription-based marketing preferred.
  • Proficiency in HTML with the ability to confidently edit and troubleshoot email or web-based code.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of pivot tables and the ability to build campaign-level forecasts and performance reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on translating data into actionable insights.
