Sitting with the Finance team, with strong collaboration with the BT Enterprise Applications team, the Sr. Associate Business Systems Analyst role is a key member of the Corporate Finance Systems team.  In this customer focused position, this role will be hands on, respond to reporting/analytics requests, manage integrations and work independently but closely with the functional Finance partners.  The Sr. Associate Business Systems Analyst will act as the Adaptive Planning system administrator and be responsible for system maintenance in support of Forecast, Budget and Long Range Planning.  This role manages day to day user support of the current models, OfficeConnect and web reporting and security set-up.  The team is also involved with implementations of new Adaptive Planning models and on-going development of the current system. 


  • Act as the Adaptive Planning system administrator
  • Manage data and metadata maintenance, version copies, provide tier-1 user support, maintain user permissions and role access, lead end-user trainings
  • Manage monthly data loads via manual loads and integrations into Adaptive Planning and perform reconciliations to ensure data integrity
  • Maintain internal documentation for system processes, new models, enhancements and training
  • Stay informed on new version releases and system features to assess need for adoption and coordinate testing
  • Develop process improvements with focus on optimizing use of Adaptive Planning
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration
  • Provide guidance to Finance team members on the best practices and use of financial systems
  • Work closely with Finance to understand system needs and open technical support tickets to triage issues when necessary
  • Support on-going enhancements and implementations of new Adaptive Planning models
  • Act as an advocate for Financial planning and reporting tools


  • Minimum of 2 years in FP&A and related experience working with financial planning systems, Adaptive Planning preferred
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end FP&A processes
  • Experience supporting end-users and troubleshooting system issues
  • Strong attention to detail and keen focus on providing a positive end-user experience
  • Motivated self-starter who is resourceful and has a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of ERP and Financial Planning software and ability to operate as the SME on Financial Systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related area
