Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations for OB-GYN exams, utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Schedules and coordinates tests and prepares and maintains operational logs. Records test results and updates patient records for referring physicians. Maintains and calibrates equipment, and orders necessary supplies.
Associates degree or graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology, with three years experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
Registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Performing various diagnostic medical sonography exams including obstetrics, gynecological, abdominal, small parts as ordered by medical provider.
