Technologist Associate
Work Location: Cincinnati, OH

InGenesis is currently sourcing for a Technologist Associate to work with our client located in Cincinnati, OH. This position is dependent on contract award. In this role, you will perform phlebotomy and pre-analytical processing of specimens.

Job Duties
• Obtain blood specimens.
• Process and triage specimens for testing and transit.
• Use computer programs to track specimen transport.
• Provide laboratory customer service (result inquiry, add-ons, etc.).
• Perform waived, moderately complex, and highly complex testing.
• Evaluate credibility and accuracy of test results.
• Operate and maintain clinical laboratory equipment.
• Issue blood products and monitor for quality assurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ month of related experience.
• Preferred: 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Keyboarding skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of specimen requirements.
• Preferred: Familiarity with lab terminology, lab assay schedules, and expected turnaround times.
