Job Description

InGenesis is currently seeking a Specimen Collector to work with our client located in Long Beach, CA. In this role, you will perform medical assisting tasks associated with specimen collection.

Job Duties

  • Write patient dates of birth on vials.
  • Place vials in holder.
  • Visually confirm saliva vial is at 1 ml.
  • Scan vials.
  • Confirm information is correct in computer.
  • Seal bags and place into collection location.
  • Place absorbent material in box.
  • Confirm labeling and seal box.
  • Place box in pick up location.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Preferred: Medical assistant experience.
