Room Service Wait Staff
Work Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary/Description
Provides service to patients and guests in the selection, assembly, delivery and presentation of room service meals and nourishments. Impacts the operations of the room service program which potentially impacts all patients and guests.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Essential Job Functions: Orients patients to room service.
• Assists patients and guests with menu selection.
• Assembles, delivers and serves meals and nourishment.
• Utilizes knowledge of menu and modified diets to ensure that menu selections comply with prescribed diet, age-related needs and other patient conditions.
• Communicates effectively with nursing and nutrition staff to coordinate meal service with other patient acre functions.
• Prepares and delivers tube feedings. Retrieves trays, records food intake and returns trays to ware washing area.
• Inventories, assembles and delivers supplies.
• Maintains sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Collects payment for guest trays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
