Duty Location
- Primary duty location: FLETC – Glynco Campus
- Required travel to other FLETC sites, including Artesia, NM and Charleston, SC, as mission requirements dictate
Work Schedule
The Quality Control Manager shall coordinate and adjust their work schedule as necessary to fulfill the requirements of this contract. The QCM’s schedule shall be structured to ensure there is no interruption to the FLETC Training Schedule and that all contractual quality control requirements are met.
Position Summary
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for the oversight, management, and execution of the Quality Control (QC) Program across all FLETC Training Delivery Points (TDPs) under this contract. The QCM serves as the senior quality authority and is responsible for directing Quality Control Personnel, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and reporting quality findings directly to the Contractor’s Corporate Office and Government representatives.
The QCM functions independently of local operational management and does not report to, nor coordinate QC findings through, the on-site Project Manager (PM), Assistant Project Manager (APM), or Clinic Managers.

All Quality Control Personnel report directly to the QCM.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality Control Manager shall:
- Serve as the sole authority for all Quality Control-related matters under this contract.
- Oversee and manage Quality Control Personnel assigned to the Glynco, Artesia, and Charleston FLETC sites.
- Ensure Quality Control inspections are conducted at each assigned site in accordance with contract requirements and approved Quality Control Plans.
- Receive and review QC inspection findings from site-specific QC personnel.
- Ensure QC Personnel report findings only to the QCM and not to local Clinic Managers, PMs, or APMs.
- Analyze quality trends, deficiencies, and corrective actions across all sites.
- Present consolidated Quality Control findings to:
- Contractor’s Corporate Office
- Contracting Officer (CO) / Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
- Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
- Submit all QC findings no later than the fifth (5th) training day of the following month.
- Maintain independence from local clinic operations to ensure objectivity in quality assessments.
- Coordinate required travel between FLETC sites as necessary to fulfill oversight responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and clinical quality standards applicable to FLETC medical operations.
Qualifications and Experience
The Quality Control Manager shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Licensure and Certification:
- Board‑certified and licensed as one of the following:
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must maintain all appropriate credentials and licenses in good standing.
- Board‑certified and licensed as one of the following:
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of clinical experience.
- Within the last three (3) years, must have:
- Successfully worked as a Quality Control Manager or
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial or government quality control programs.
- Must possess knowledge of, or experience with, quality control operations in one or more of the following environments:
- Health unit
- Urgent care clinic
- Doctor’s office
- Emergency department
- Management Responsibilities:
- Shall not share other key management duties that would compromise independence.
- Must have supervisory experience over quality control staff.
Communication and Technical Proficiency
The QCM and all assigned QC personnel shall:
- Be proficient in written and oral English communication.
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Use computers to communicate via email and Microsoft Teams.
- Retrieve, analyze, and prepare reports.
- Provide required documentation to the CO/COR.
- Operate Microsoft Office applications.
- Use the Government‑provided Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
