Position Summary: The Project Manager (PM) serves as the senior on-site management official for the contract and is accountable for the overall planning, execution, oversight, and successful performance of all contract requirements. The PM is fully authorized to act, speak, and make binding business decisions on behalf of the Prime Contractor. The PM ensures compliance with contract requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and Government directives while maintaining uninterrupted healthcare operations at FLETC facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of all healthcare operations and contract personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government (CO/COR/CMO) for all matters related to contract performance.
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with contract requirements, approved policies, and established standards of care.
- Maintain on-site presence during core duty hours on all training days and any additional days training is conducted.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the Alternate Project Manager (APM) and other management personnel.
- Ensure adequate staffing, credentialing, licensing, and compliance of all healthcare personnel.
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the Health Unit, Urgent Care Clinic, Doctor’s Office, or Emergency Department, as applicable.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify risks or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and submit required reports to the CO/COR in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective use of Government-provided Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Immediately report any changes, restrictions, or limitations to professional licensure to the employer and the CO/COR.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders to support continuous improvement and operational readiness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Licensure and Certification:
- Must possess board certification and current, full, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) at a minimum.
- Licensure must be maintained for the duration of the contract.
Education:
- Baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited healthcare program (accredited by CHEA, U.S. Department of Education, ACEN, or CCNE).
- Graduate degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant studies, Health Care Administration, or Medicine is preferred.
- U.S. citizens educated at foreign institutions must hold an active, unrestricted U.S. state license.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional healthcare experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience successfully managing a Health Unit, Urgent Care Clinic, Doctor’s Office, or Emergency Department.
- At least three (3) consecutive years of management experience, with successful management within the last three (3) years.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated leadership and healthcare operations management expertise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, email communication, and Government-provided EMR systems.
- Ability to analyze operational data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to Government stakeholders.
