PHARMACY TECHNICIAN- Claim Review

Columbia, SC

We have a unique opportunity available for a Pharmacy Technician to join our client located in Columbia, SC.   As the Pharm Tech, you’ll be reviewing and auditing medical claims for completeness and accuracy by looking at various pieces of documentation.  Position is long term contract, full time hours!

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review/audit prescription claims, including rejections 

Working with pharmacies to resolve discrepancies 

Oversight of PBM activities 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•HS Diploma or equivalency required 

•State Pharmacy Tech license required

•Good organizational ability and attention to detail.

•Excellent phone etiquette skills and ability to interact professionally with others.

•Must maintain confidentiality of all patient health information.

•Good typing skills/data entry and computer knowledge (MS Office).
