Paralegal - (13201)

InGenesis is currently seeking a Paralegal to work with our client in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be working in the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH).

Job Duties

· Inform consumers of complaint filing procedures or refer them to another government agency, if appropriate.

· Code incoming new consumer complaints and send out the proper initial letters.

· Identify cases requiring prioritization and refer them to a supervisor for assignment.

· Be professional and provide drafted decisions in the timeframe provided.

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of legal language and principles, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

· Maintain confidentiality and agree to non-disclosure agreements maintained by the

· Contractor and available for inspection by OTDA (See Attachment A).

· Access systems and complete all assignments within the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.

· Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

· Possess paralegal certification.

· Have a minimum of two years of experience providing complex clerical level legal support services to an attorney.

*Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
