Job Summary/Description
A Research Imaging Center seeks to hire a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) with expertise in position-emission tomography (PET) and PET/CT. This position is fully committed to research and involves PET and PET/CT imaging of humans and non-human primates. PET radiopharmaceuticals employed are made in-house and will be labeled with isotopes of varying half-lives, including 18-F, 11-C, 15-0, and 64-Cu. This position requires patient interaction, including obtaining informed consent, but does not require NHP handing (which is provided by veterinary staff). Responsibilities include IV-lne placement, tracer administration, scanner operation, image reconstruction, image archiving, performing routine quality control, and managing scanner-service. Also, responsible for patient safety (including pre-screening for contraindindications, aspectic injection technique, etc) and radiation/safety/regulations (including proper documentation and technique when working with radioactive materials/patients). This is a part-time position, 20/hours a week, 4 months or more (this could lead to a full-time position).

Minimum Qualifications
• Registered as a CNMT with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) and maintain current licensure.
