InGenesis is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to work with our client located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will support the GTRI in project accounting creation to close out processes within assigned GTRI laboratories.

Job Duties

  • Provide complete proposal, invoicing and accounting services for Department of Defense and other sponsors
  • Responsible for sponsored project accounting and sponsored project budgeting.
  • Set up sponsored projects and revenue and billing.
  • Perform monthly invoicing, unbillable reporting, and sponsored project close-out.
  • Identify pricing for proposals and manage project budgeting.
  • Create federal, state, and industrial contract proposals compliant with federal regulations.
  • Perform federal and industrial reports.
  • Develop work breakdown structure.
  • Manages estimates to complete.
  • Create project invoicing and review including CLIN/ACRN ceilings.
  • Enter project costs into accounting journal.
  • Interface with sponsors on invoices, reporting, and payment.
  • Advise GTRI laboratory director regarding sponsored project financial issues.
  • Oversee the responsibility to invoice sponsors within federal and state regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ Years’ experience.
  • Working knowledge of Government Contracting FAR 31.2, CAS, Grants, disclosure statements, federal rate setting, indirect rates, TINA, GA State, BOR and GTRI, and GT policies for sponsored projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Government contracting or grant experience is a plus!


Specialized Skills Preferred:

  • Federal Acquisition Regulations under FAR 31.2 or 2 CFR 200.
  • Proposal and pricing expertise under FAR 31.2 or 2 CFR 200.
  • Costpoint Accounting Application.
  • ProPricer Pricing Application.
