InGenesis is currently seeking an Epidemiologist to support the development and maintenance of the state health assessment (SHA). In this role, you will provide vital support for the development process of a comprehensive state health assessment and the subsequent development of a state health improvement plan.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Link data sources using data linkage algorithms (deterministic, probabilistic and geospatial link).
• Identify data sources for the SHA development.
• Analyze and interpret data findings including statistical significance testing.
• Geocode available data sources.
• Interpret analytic results and use ArcGIS for spatial analysis to identify hot spots for program intervention implementation.
• Develop data into tables, charts, graphs, maps, etc.
• Present data findings, both orally and in writing.
• Prepare analysis and interpretation of data, identifying populations significantly impacted and underlying causes of those impacts.
• Provide guidance to the statisticians and program administrators on the SHA team on the findings of the data analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in public health related field;
• OR PhD degree in public health related field.
• Understanding of epidemiology methods (specifically data interpretation and presentation).
• Experience working with publicly available data resources (census, vital statistics, etc.).
