Certified Medical Assistant / CMA
Work Location: Houston, TX

InGenesis is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / CMA to work with our client located in Houston, TX. In this role, you will function as a supportive role in the delivery of patient care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

Job Duties

• Obtain vitals and surgical/social history.

• Perform medication reconciliation.

• Assist with surgery scheduling.

• Coordinate transition of care, referrals, and imaging.

• Plan and prepare for patient visits.

• Perform appropriate hearing and vision testing, EKG, etc.

• Stock rooms and clinic supplies.

• Assist with routine and specialty procedures.

• Respond to emergency situations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant / CMA certification.

• 3+ years of related experience.

• Current BLS certification.
