Certified Medical Assistant
Work Location: Bryan, TX

Job Summary/Description
Under the direction of a physician, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), assists in the delivery of health care for patients, performing a wide variety of patient care activities. The ideal CMA candidate has a commitment to service and quality, can effectively maintain relationships with patients and medical staff, and can perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
• Room patient and prepares patient for examination.
• Take and record vitals, obtain patient history and reason for visit; recording in patient’s chart.
• Assists clinical staff in completing examination and procedures as instructed.
• Completely fill out lab slips and other forms, when necessary.
• Assists the medical staff in patient education.
• Obtain laboratory samples and complete paperwork as ordered by the provider.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification with minimum 2 years’ clinical experience.
• Current TB and CPR
• EMR experience
