Associate IT Support Technician (10464)

Job Description

InGenesis is currently seeking a Associate IT Support Technician to work with our client located in Houston, TX. In this role, you will identify problems, apply optimum solutions and communicate the resolutions to assist customers and department personnel in resolving assigned hardware, software, integration, and operating system-level problems in the desktop, mobile computing and network environments.

Job Duties

  • Listens and allows the customer to explain an issue.
  • Owns assigned issues, maintains complete, accurate and up-to-date incident tracking information.
  • Escalates to appropriate support departments and follows up with departments.
  • Troubleshoots and exhausts all available resources to assist with all Mobile device related questions.
  • Deploys and receives Mobile devices for all assigned individuals within the institution.
  • Supports international travelers during their trip abroad to assure connectivity.
  • Attends regularly scheduled Knowledge Transfer Sessions, where they will be expected to interact, share knowledge, and enhance their own knowledge of the Mobile Device Services by putting ideas into use.
  • Attends training classes in classroom and online to improve learned skills.
  • Collaborate with various teams and people throughout the institution to resolve issues related to pagers, laptops, encrypted drives and phones.
  • Works with individuals and departments across the institution to resolve issues that involve Mobile devices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years professional experience supporting mobile devices (iOS preferred) and experience working with service providers such as AT&T or Verizon.
  • Experience using AirWatch or another MDM system.
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
