Purpose of Position:
- Operate effectively and deliver tangible value to our customers with respect to operations
mining. - Manage and carry out Software configurations and provide technical support for the
fleet control systems in mining operations in the region.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Support and maintain fleet management software and its associated systems.
- Solve contingencies at the Software level that the system presents.
- Take responsibility for the client's problems, analyze the feasibility of resolution and apply
when it is possible. - Representing Hexagon Mining in a friendly, professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Maintain, improve and comply with Hexagon Mining standards at the documentation level,
information, systems and processes. - Collaborate on support team maintenance tasks on a scheduled list.
Knowledge and Experience - Required:
- Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Mining/Industrial/Electronics, Automation, or any
specialty related to the position). - Demonstrated work experience 2 years.
- Considerable demonstrated experience in technical support, diagnosing and troubleshooting
diverse and varied environments. - Intermediate level knowledge using Microsoft Word and Excel (for resolution records)
problems and email). - Experience in Postgres and/or experience in SQL Server, in Linux and Linux Shell Scripting, in some
programming language such as Ruby, Python, C#. - Basic knowledge of networks.
- Availability to perform some shifts 24x7
- Experience in PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
- Experience in Linux OS
- Experience in IP networks.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and represent society
professional. - Prioritization skill (prerequisite).

Travel:
- Considerable travel up to 25% (within South America) is required for this position.
