The General Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding FACE FOUNDRIÉ goals through staff recruiting, training, and service and product sales. A General Manager is responsible for creating an environment that exceeds standards of excellence in guest service, client retention, employee development, operational effectiveness, team culture, and local marketing efforts. The General Manager reports to the owner, and serves as the primary contact for all salon personnel, and serves as the manager on duty five days per week.
General Manager Responsibilities:
Fosters a team that delivers best-in-class customer service
Exceeds financial metrics including: service revenue, average ticket, guest count, guest retention, rebooking, retail revenue
Identifies opportunities for growth such as staffing, scheduling and coaching
Manages all personnel, including recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, safety and legal compliance
Identifies professional development needed for each staff member
Coaches each staff member towards individual, team, and/or personal goals
Conducts reviews for all staff members
Manages store inventory and supplies
Leads local marketing events, partnerships, collaborations and social media efforts
Helps forecast sales, growth trajectories and expansion plans
Performs services on guests, as needed
