SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Finalsite Advantage Consultants provide personalized strategic guidance to schools and districts, helping them optimize their digital presence, strengthen brand messaging, and enhance engagement strategies across marketing, communications, admissions, and enrollment. Each consultant independently manages a portfolio of clients, tailoring services to their unique goals through a blend of high-level consulting and hands-on implementation. The role requires a balance of strategy, execution, and practical support, including a two-day on-site visit for each new client.

Advantage Consultants must have a strong understanding of and experience within at least one of the following education sectors: U.S. independent schools, U.S. public school districts, or international schools. Proficiency with Finalsite Composer is essential.

Additionally, Advantage Consultants contribute to Finalsite’s thought leadership by presenting at marketing events, leading training sessions, and participating in industry discussions—both virtually and in person.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Website Redesign SupportWebsite consulting is a frequent component of Advantage engagements, including:

    • Reviewing and refining key brand messaging

    • Evaluating and improving site structure and homepage content strategy

    • Developing sitemaps and content organization plans

    • Collaborating on design briefs and providing feedback throughout the design process

    • Supporting photography and videography planning for digital assets

    • Optimizing website content for engagement and usability

    • Providing hands-on support in Composer for website updates and enhancements

    • Overseeing website launch activities

  • Client Engagement & Consulting

    • Independently manage and support assigned clients through in-depth reviews, audits, and assessments of their current marketing and communications efforts.

    • Develop strategic and actionable plans, guiding clients in the successful execution of marketing and admissions initiatives.

  • Marketing & Communications StrategyConsultants develop and implement strategies in key areas such as:

    • Customer Persona Development

    • Competitive Analysis & Positioning

    • Brand Messaging & Visual Identity

    • Content & Inbound Marketing

    • Website Performance & UX Optimization

    • Internal & External Communications

    • Admissions & Enrollment Campaigns

    • Digital Advertising Strategy

    • Retention & Yield-Focused Communications

    • Admissions Event Planning

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in school marketing, communications, or admissions.

  • Deep understanding of at least one of the following education sectors: U.S. independent schools, U.S. public school districts, or international (English-language) schools.

  • Hands-on experience using Finalsite Composer.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel for on-site client engagements (2-day campus visits).

  • Experience developing short-, medium, and long-term marketing or enrollment strategies.

  • Strong ability to build trust with clients, inspire confidence, and mentor school teams.

  • Expertise in content marketing and inbound marketing techniques.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines effectively.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
