SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Financial Administrator Intern is responsible for day to day accounting transactional activities. This includes working with customer contracts including sales orders and billing/invoicing, purchase orders/vendor invoices, and payroll and benefit related matters.

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and translate data from customer contracts into appropriate items within the accounting system to complete the invoicing process.

  • Handle high volume vendor interactions and vendor invoices, review and code them into the vendor system and seek departmental manager approval.

  • Research billing and collection matters to resolve customer questions.

  • Be able to run, manage and operate bi-monthly payroll.

  • Research errors and perform necessary tasks to correct problems and/or be able to work with our software provider customer support to resolve issues.

  • Analyze data and help with special projects (various accrual analysis, reconciliations between systems)

  • As and when required, help with the collection of outstanding customer invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in a finance role

  • Great organization skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.

  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and balance a number of priorities.

  • Must be technology driven and understand how to best maximize the capture of data through systems

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite is a big plus.

  • Able to interpret data from spreadsheets and other tools.

  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
