A leading university is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance crew assignments and priorities across shifts and work groups as assigned, under the direction of a supervisor as well as coordinate solutions and support the scheduling of backlog, routine, renewal, and preventive maintenance work orders. The ideal candidate has three years of related work order scheduling experience. The company offers a great work environment!

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Coordinator Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $26/hr
  • Worksite: Leading university (Stanford, CA 94305 - Onsite)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 7 Month Assignment

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and schedule workflow for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work under limited supervision.
  • Execute daily operations tasks and provide support on short and long-term projects to meet priority demands.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and multi-week schedules for facilities operations and maintenance work.
  • Provide timely customer service on reactive work orders.
  • Process calls, and generate appropriate work orders consistent with documentation. Established dispatching and emergency procedures.
  • Contribute to maintenance planning and facilities related process and performance improvement efforts.
  • Enter, manipulate, analyze and extract data using maintenance management system.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including calendaring, e-mail correspondence, and data entry.

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Coordinator Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related work order scheduling experience.
  • Associate’s degree or higher education.
  • Administrative calendaring experience.
  • Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Fundamental analytical ability and skills to operate a computerized maintenance program and produce reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage short deadlines, navigate changing priorities, and follow a disciplined work process.
  • Working knowledge of facility maintenance procedures and systems; general understanding of preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to quickly learn the maintenance serviceprovider roles of each shop, the roles of contract services, proper sequencing of repair work, and facilities and construction terminology as related to the performance of maintenance work.
  • Working knowledge of technologies/platforms that support business operations and communications.
  • Ability to work well with colleagues and clients and with external organizations.
  • Occasionally climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
  • Rarely kneel/crawl, grasp forcefully, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license.
  • Heavy phone communication, intermediate Excel skills (formulas and pivot tables).

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
